Active development and testing on the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet may result in changes that can affect certain browsers or wallets. A common cause for this is devices caching certain information that may have been updated in order to save bandwidth, memory or system resources. This troubleshooting guide should resolve most issues related to caching.

Reset transaction history
Transaction History can be reset on the Metamask Browser Extension Wallet by navigating to Settings > Advanced > Clear Activity Tab Data.
On Metamask Mobile, this can be done by navigating to Settings > Advanced > Reset Account.
Consult the documentation of your Ethereum wallet to see if this step is possible. If not, please proceed to try to Testnet Troubleshooting - Delete and re-add the ZKcandy Testnet RPC.
Delete and re-add the ZKcandy Testnet RPC
Navigate to your wallet’s chain management interface and delete the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet from its list. Consult your wallet’s documentation on how to do this.
On the Metamask Browser Extension, switch to another network such as Ethereum in the Network Selector on the top left side of the interface, then using the three dots to the right of the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet network information, click “Delete”.
On Metamask Mobile, you can do this by navigating to Settings > Networks. Tap on the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet entry and tap Delete.
Once you have removed the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet from your list of networks, proceed to re-add the network to your wallet with the details found at Connecting to the ZKcandy Testnet.
Flush browser cache
Your browser may be caching an old version of a dApp on the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet. This might be the result of a contract redeployment or a reset (regenesis) of the Testnet. This can cause transactions to become stuck as the wallet is referencing a contract that no longer exists on the current version of the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet.
Most desktop browsers use one of the following key combinations to flush the cached data of a website. Navigate to the problematic dApp and try these key combinations to force the browser to reload the latest version of the dApp:
- Ctrl + Shift + R
- Ctrl + F5
- Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
- Cmd + F5 (Mac)
On some MacOS Devices (e.g. MacBook Pro with Touch Bar), holding the Fn
key may be necessary to get the F5 key to appear on the Touch Bar.
The above key combinations should also work on ChromeOS, Android, iOS and iPadOS devices with connected keyboards.
For mobile devices, switch your device to Airplane Mode for a few minutes to purge the cache of some dApps. The methods of clearing your browser cache may vary by device and the browser you are using.
