ZKcandy Documentation
Acquiring Ether
Most transactions on ZKcandy require transaction fees or “gas”. This is most commonly paid in Ether (ETH). Hence you will need to acquire Ether in order to perform certain transactions on the ZKcandy blockchain.
Ether is the native currency of the Ethereum Mainnet and can be bridged to the ZKcandy Mainnet through our native Bridges.
Never divulge your private key or seed phrase in exchange for assets.
Purchasing Ether
ETH can be purchased on most crypto exchanges. After purchasing ETH on your preferred exchange, consult the exchange’s documentation on how you can withdraw this ETH to your wallet.
Our Native Bridges only support Ether on the Ethereum Mainnet. When withdrawing from exchanges, be sure to set the Ethereum Mainnet as your destination chain.
Native Bridges
Bridging Ether to ZKcandy is a quick and easy process on our native bridges. Bridging Ether into ZKcandy only requires one transaction from L1 (Ethereum Mainnet/Sepolia).
Withdrawing Ether from ZKcandy using a native bridge is a longer process and requires a 24 hour challenge period to be elapsed before the funds are available on L1. As such withdrawals also require two transactions - the withdrawal has to be initiated from ZKcandy and then, after the 24 hour challenge period, claimed from the respective L1 bridge contract.

ZKcandy-Sepolia Bridge
Test Ether on the Ethereum Sepolia Testnet can be bridged to the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet via our official native bridge at https://sepolia.bridge.zkcandy.io/bridge.
Acquiring Test Ether on Sepolia can be done in a variety of ways, including but not limited to faucets. You can also purchase Testnet Ether from LayerZero’s Testnet Bridge.
